Information about Mountain Bike Tours

Gyenesdiás is situated right where the slopes of the Keszthely Hills begin, which is one of the most beautiful national parks of Hungary. The towns and villages of the region are proud of their vivid nature, with butterflies, birds, and wildlife. Professional bike riders guide the bike fans through the unexplored routes of this untouched area. The tours start at given times or by appointment. Your reward for experiencing this challenge is the beauty of the landscape especially “breathtaking” when experienced on a bike. The min. number of attendants is 4 persons. It is important to note that in the end all roads go down-hill…

What you will need:
 good physical condition
 sport clothes
 mosquito repellent
 sun lotion / protection
 bike, but renting is also possible (15 pieces): 8 EURO / 2 000 HUF / tour / person

1. Gyenesdiás – Fenékpuszta – Balatonszentgyörgy (Csillagvár) – Gyenesdiás
Easy tour on the bicycle road, ca. 40 km.
1. Gyenesdiás – Szigliget (Castle) – Gyenesdiás
Easy tour on the bicycle road, ca. 45 km.
2. Gyenesdiás – Büdös-kút – Balatongyörök – Gyenesdiás
Moderate tour, on land and bicycle road, ca 35 km, elevation: 350 m, with one larger slope
3. Gyenesdiás – Büdös-kút – Gyenesdiás
Difficult tour, on land in the Keszthely Hills on the tourist track, ca. 30 km, elevation: 450 km
